About 1,700 Gallons of Diesel Fuel Stolen from Maryland Concrete
The stolen fuel is valued at $7,200, according to police.
Approximately 1,700 gallons of diesel fuel valued at $7,200 was stolen from a storage tank at Maryland Concrete Inc., according to Baltimore County police.
A burglar is believed to have entered the property, located in the 21600 block of York Road in Freeland, between 7 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday, said Det. Cathy Batton, a police spokeswoman. The business owner notified officers about the theft at around 2:50 p.m. Nov. 18.
Earlier this year, Cinder & Concrete Block in Cockeysville had about 32,000 gallons of diesel fuel stolen in two separate instances.
Batton said it hasn't been determined if the burglaries at Cinder & Concrete are related to the one at Maryland Concrete.
