Abandoned Pit Bull Puppy Finds Home
Mars was discovered inside a plastic tote bag in Essex.
A pit bull puppy found inside a plastic tote bag in Essex has been adopted.
On Jan. 6, Mars was discovered lying in a pool of his own urine and was shivering from the cold, according to a news release from the Baltimore County Department of Health. He was rescued on Orems Road by an area resident.
The puppy was taken to the Baltimore County Animal Shelter to recover, and was adopted this week, said Jennifer Kwiterovici, a veterinary technician at the shelter.
